More emerging talent sign on the dotted line for Middlesex. 18thJanuary 2019

Middlesex have announced that Dawid Malan has been awarded a testimonial year in 2019.

Malan, has also put pen to paper on a new long term contract with the club, which will see the club captain remain at Lords until at least the end of the 2021 season.

Malan, made his debut for the county back in 2006 and has since made over 350 appearances for the club in all formats of the game.

In a busy week for the club which saw new Coach Stuart Law unveiled to the media, James Harris has also signed a long-term contract with the club until the end of 2021. The 28-year-old joined Middlesex from Glamorgan in 2014 and his since taken over 250 wickets in all formats.

Three further players have signed new long-term contracts with the county. Etham Bamber, Nathan Sowter and Robbie White have put pen to paper on new deals.

Both Bamber and White enjoyed breakthrough years in red-ball cricket in 2018, making their championship debuts for the county.
