Flames see off Lightning for another home win. 21st February 2019

Taking to the ice for the first time since they were crowned Patton Conference Champions, Guildford Flames completed a 5-1 victory against Milton Keynes Kings at the Spectrum on Wednesday.
In front of a very healthy crowd of over 1,700, Flames opened the scoring at 12.27 through Jesse Craige. A shade over two minutes later Evan Janssen netted to give the home side a 2-0 lead at the break.
Jamie Crooks bagged Flames third goal of the night on 23.03, with youngster Joshua Waller finishing of a fine breakaway move four minutes later.
Seconds after stepping out of the penalty box Ben Davies took a Kruise Reddick pass to bury the puck past Patrick Killeen. Inside the last five minutes Tim Wallace spoiled Travis Fullerton’s chances of back to back shutouts when he converted a faceoff win, to give Lightning a consolation goal.
