Flames add trio of newcomers ahead of the new season. 17th July 2018

Guildford Flames have added to their squad for next season with the addition of Canadian Defenceman Corbin Baldwin.

The 27-year-old 6ft 5inch defenceman has spent the last three seasons with ECHL’s Idaho Steelheads. Baldwin’s best season for the Steelheads came in 2015-16 when he had three goals and 20 points in his 72 starts for the club.

Flames have also announced the signing of 25-year-old forward Evan Ritt. The 6ft native of Lakewood, Colorado, USA, iced 36 games last term with French outfit Gap, where he had 11 goals and 16 points.

The club have also signed American winger Evan Janssen, who will be making his UK debut for the Flames. The 25-year-old forward iced 37 games last season in an injury shortened pro season with Rapid City Rush of the ECHL, where he scored 18 points including seven goals.
